Subject	question about powder coating wheels...?

Message	has anybody powdered coated their rims and has had no problems?? i've heard stories and rumors that once a rim gets PC they tend to weakened and are easily broken... has anybody gone through this? if there is no problems i am thinking of powder coating these 18" tsw vx1... what do you guys think? should i wait and buy new wheels or should i powder coat them flat black for around 300... the reason i am doing this is because the chrome is coming off... i would buy new wheels at this moment but i first want to get the j spec 99 bumper, some side skirts and the twins diffuser so im not worried about the rims just yet... thanks in advance..
